Apply to the 2026 Futuro Fund Scholarship

The Futuro Fund, created in 2024, is committed to supporting master’s- and doctoral-level students who are pursuing careers in mental health and demonstrate a dedication to serving the Latinx community.

This year, the Futuro Fund will award two scholarships of $5,000 each—one to a doctoral-level student and one to a master’s-level student. These scholarships are designed to reduce the financial barriers of graduate education, allowing recipients to focus on academic excellence and professional growth. By investing in the next generation of mental health professionals, the Futuro Fund seeks to strengthen a diverse, culturally responsive workforce prepared to meet the unique mental health needs of our communities.

Also new this year: Through a recently established partnership with Seton Hall University, the University has agreed to match the Futuro Fund scholarship award and provide an additional tuition discount for recipients who are enrolled in Seton Hall programs. Applicants must still meet all other Futuro Fund application criteria.

Applications for The Futuro Fund  are now open! We encourage eligible students to apply and take advantage of this opportunity to further your academic and professional journey in the mental health field.
