About the event
Lace up your sneakers and join us for a refreshing morning on the trail! This May, the Latino Mental Health Association of New Jersey invites you to step outside, breathe, and move with purpose.
Led by licensed professional counselor Alan Chirino, LPC, this guided hike is designed for all levels — whether you're a seasoned trail-walker or taking your very first steps outdoors. Just show up — la comunidad te espera.
Here's what to expect: A grounding stretch and movement invitation to kick things off, approximately two hours of guided hiking through the beautiful Bram Hall Terrace, and plenty of space to build those conexiones with others who share your passion for mental wellness.
¿Por qué importa? Here's why it matters: Every step you take supports the LMHANJ Futuro Fund — our scholarship fund empowering the next generation of Latinx mental health professionals pursuing master's and doctoral degrees. Alan is generously volunteering his time so that every dollar raised goes directly to the fund. We strongly encourage a suggested donation of $25 at registration — every contribution makes a difference. Ready to give? Donate here.
This hike is for todos — bring a friend, a colega, or just yourself.
Every step counts. Cada paso importa.
