Jessenia Rivera, LPC

Jessenia Rivera is a licensed and board-certified counselor with ten years of experience specializing in working with young adults, adolescents, and children. She earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Arts in Counseling from Kean University. Jessenia is the founder of The Prosper Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to offering free therapeutic support and mental health education to youth in the community. Additionally, she is an adjunct professor at Kean University in the counselor education program, where she enjoys the opportunity to engage with and inspire upcoming mental health professionals.

Jessenia enjoys working out of different therapeutic modalities and meeting clients where they are in their journey. In her free time, she loves going to concerts, reading books, playing softball in a women’s league, trying new places to eat, and connecting with friends.
