Erika Hurtado, LCSW

Erika Hurtado, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, is a passionate and experienced therapist dedicated to empowering individuals on their mental health journeys. As the owner and founder of Unscripted Therapy, a private practice in NJ, Erika specializes in providing trauma-informed care to teenagers and adults. She also provides comprehensive immigration evaluations for youth and adults. 

With a deep understanding of the unique experiences of the Latinx community, Erika seamlessly integrates her own cultural background as a first-generation Latina into her therapeutic approach.  Drawing upon her extensive experience working in various settings, including community hospitals, non-profit organizations, and private practice settings, Erika has developed an atmosphere of compassion and curiosity in her work. 

Beyond her professional endeavors, Erika finds joy in exploring the world through travel, indulging in her passion for food, and enjoying the serenity of the outdoors and paddleboarding. These experiences enrich her life and bring a sense of balance and perspective to her work as a therapist.
